Aprenda Through Music

ATM is more than a school – it’s a movement of language, culture, and connection.

Here, music is the heartbeat. Whether you’re learning Portuguese from English, French, Spanish or Armenian, the lingua franca that unites everyone will be Brazilian Portuguese.

ATM is about building healthy connections – between languages, cultures, and people – through rhythm, creativity, and belonging.

About the Founder

Gabriela Vallim is a Brazilian journalist, entrepreneur, and cultural leader whose mission is to amplify the voices of Black communities through media, education, and culture.

Her journey bridges continents — from Brazil to the UK, and now Armenia — always grounded in the fight for diversity, equity, and inclusion. She has represented Brazil at the United Nations, advocating for youth participation in peacebuilding and social justice.

Gabriela is the co-founder of Baile Funk Culture, a platform connecting African and Caribbean youth in London with Afro-Brazilian culture, and the founder of Aprenda Through Music, where music becomes a tool to teach Portuguese and English.

Recognised as one of the 50 most influential Black leaders in the world by MIPAD Global 100 (UN-backed initiative) alongside figures like Oprah Winfrey, Gabriela is also an MBA graduate, journalist, and cultural practitioner.

Her work merges storytelling, education, and music to build bridges between Brazil, Africa, and the world.

“We are more than a language school. We are a community. A movement. A cultural bridge.”
